Strengthening a One Company Culture
Challenge
A global leader in animal nutrition recognized the need to develop a one company culture for their Benelux operation to successfully execute its strategy. With offices around the world, the company faced challenges posed by the rapidly changing market driven by factors such as climate change, population growth, and technological advancements in farming. Elemental was engaged to help map the current and targeted situation of the One Company organization using the Thrive by Design framework.

A core team consisting of employees from both NL & BEL offices interviewed employees from all levels of the organization to determine the current and desired targeted situation. Elemental then helped to define six strategic themes that would enable and further strengthen a One Company culture. Each theme was assigned a focus team that had the mandate of the management team to develop and test an initiative in line with the strategic theme, ultimately strengthening the one company culture.
Result
The project resulted in several successful initiatives that were aligned with the strategic ambitions of the company and validated across the organization, ensuring direct impact once launched. The initiatives further strengthened the One Company culture, helping the organization to execute its strategy and navigate the rapidly changing market.
