ERIKS
Co-creating innovation with customers
Challenge
ERIKS is a large industrial provider of a wide range of products. Behind their product range is an organisation with a lot of engineering know-how. ERIKS was looking for a way to use this know-how to help their customers.
Approach
- Co-creation
The programme consisted of 5 days at a customers' production plant. A group of ERIKS engineers and an innovation coach would analyse the plant, create ideas and test them with prototypes and finally pitch them to the stakeholders.
Result
We successfully developed this format by running it twice. The engineers came up with solutions that the plant managers were unaware of and that could improve safety, reduce downtime, reduce waste and lower energy consumption.
After these 2 runs ERIKS continued to use the format with customers.
