New proposition for Nyenrode Business University

Developing a new proposition

Challenge

Nyenrode Business University (Nyenrode) faced the challenge of developing a new positioning strategy that matched the contemporary needs of the Netherlands. With a senior team and academic staff, they translated the original founding idea into today's questions, with a focus on Stewardship and Impact. The aim is to bring about positive change in society and reflect this in the educational offering.

Approach

  • Co-creation
  • Future Visions
  • Brand Purpose & Positioning

In close cooperation with various stakeholders and after engaging interviews with experts from different sectors, trends and developments were identified. This led to a redesign of the educational offering and the development of new programmes that meet the needs of society. Co-creation with partners from the field resulted in valuable concepts that strengthen the connection between education and practice.

Result

Nyenrode's revamped training concept is based on the pillars of Stewardship and Impact. It includes substantive themes, programmes and practical applications. In addition, great value is placed on building a strong network, with inspiring events and collaboration opportunities. This results in a vibrant and engaged community that connects students, teachers and work field partners and contributes to a sustainable and engaged society.
