Co-creating innovation with ERIKS customers

Co-creating innovation with customers

Challenge

ERIKS is a major industrial supplier of a wide range of products. Behind their product range is an organisation with a lot of technical know-how. ERIKS was looking for a way to use this knowledge to help their customers.

Approach

  • Co-creation

The programme consisted of 5 days at a client's production site. A group of ERIKS engineers and an innovation coach analysed the factory, created ideas, tested them with prototypes and finally pitched them to stakeholders.

Result

We successfully developed this format by running it twice. The engineers came up with solutions the plant managers were not aware of that could improve safety, reduce downtime, reduce waste and reduce energy consumption.

After these 2 runs, ERIKS continued to use the format with customers.
